WaveOptics is looking for a highly skilled Senior Marketing Manager to help us expand our brand and lead all global marketing activities for a world leading technology company. Our ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and a comprehensive knowledge of Brand Management, PR, Technical Product Marketing, Internal Communication, Social Media, and Event based marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage cross functional teams to deliver across multiple internal KPI’s and stakeholders.  This role will touch all aspects of the business and be responsible for leading the brand strategy that will support everything from technical thought leadership to external fundraising during a time of rapid growth for the company.

The role

  • Based in our Milton Park Offices, this position will be reporting into our Chief Revenue Officer
  • Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products and internal technical capabilities
  • Set a strategic 18-month marketing plan and KPI’s oriented towards an IPO that will be signed off by the board of directors
  • Manage all external communications, PR, social and brand campaigns
  • Identify short-term and long-term events and opportunities to showcase industry leading technology and technical thought leadership across in persona and virtual platforms.
  • Understand marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for the business
  • Manage Website and all externally facing vendors
  • Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with the CRO and the sales team to develop creative content to build on the sales and marketing strategy and support key customer engagements and activities
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including in person and virtual events, managing vendors, and highlighting execution against KPI’s and budget to the CRO, CTO, CEO, and board
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive marketing KPI’s
