As a Senior IT Support Engineer you will be part of a team who are responsible for streamlining our IT services and  day to day management of our facilities. We are  looking for a proactive, hands-on engineer who is looking to join a growing technology company and have a broad set of responsibilities.

The role

  • Based in our head office in Abingdon, Oxfordshire with some remote working
  • The Senior IT support Engineer will be supporting approximately 120 staff who are located in the UK, Asia & Austria
  • You will be responsible for day to day running of the network, considering any potential problems that could arise
  • You will be working support all staff with a range of queries ensuring they have the hardware and software to perform their role in the office and remotely
  • Purchasing IT equipment for new employees and making sure everything is set up in time for their start date
  • You will manage third party suppliers relating to both IT & facilities

What we like to see:

  • Proven experience within ITsuch as an IT Support / Network Support or Systems Administration
  • Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies
  • Proactive and highly organised to deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Can demonstrate they are proactive and hands on
  • You will have knowledge of the following services
  • Mac & PC
  • Active Directory / Azure
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Box
  • Azure SSO
  • AWS
  • Paxton Door System
  • Printers

Other advantages: 

  • Experience with engineering tools such as COMSOL, SolidWorks or 3D Printing
  • Coding experience
  • Experience managing a small team or can demonstrate leadership qualities
  • You may have previously worked in a similar size business
