The role:

Our R&D Test Team are a multidiscipline team who are both practical and experimental and responsible for developing bespoke measuring systems. As we continue to scale, we have a new opportunity for an experienced LabVIEW developer who would like to work within an innovative high-tech environment.

You will:

  • You will be working closely with various teams within the business to provide solutions to measurements problems that arise and will be responsible for the full development, debugging and deployment of the software (LabVIEW)
  • Work closely with Optical Engineers to deliver full turn-key test systems
  • Automate test stations, in turn increasing capacity and giving more reliable results within R&D and NPI and support transition into mass manufacture
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining current systems and implementing any new features and changes also improving and maintaining other aspects of systems control such as data analysis, reporting and hardware control

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Physics or Engineering
  • Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) preferred however minimum you must have a good grasp of message based frameworks and OOP
  • Experience with full development cycle and testing
  • Previous experience within automation
  • We are looking for a proactive communicative engineer that can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • You will be able to understand the engineering requirements of the user in order to deliver solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with various timeframes


  • Experience with Python to provide additional back-end support
  • If you have an Optical or physical measurement experience would expand the remit of the role but is not required
  • Experience within robotics would be an advantage
